Nokia 6650
Available now
The Nokia 6650 is the first 3G capable phone from
Nokia, initially only available on O2 and Vodafone GSM
networks, ready for when their 3G networks go live.
Like most 3G capable phones, the Nokia 6650 is quite
large measuring 132x52x25 mm and weighing 141 grams.
The screen on the Nokia 6650 is a fairly large 160x128
pixel display in 4096 colours. There's a 640x480
pixel digital camera, capable of stills and video recordings
(at 128x96 pixels).
The 6650 has Bluetooth capability so it can be easily
connected to a Bluetooth capable laptop. It supports
GPRS (on GSM) and WCDMA 128kbps (on 3G when available)
data transfer rates.
As well as working on forthcoming 3G networks, the
Nokia 6650 will also work on GSM 900 and 1800 networks.
On top of all this, the Nokia 6650 has Java support
for games and other applications and polyphonic ringtones,
plus a whole host of other cool features.
