Sharp GX22
The
Sharp GX22 is a worldwide, unlocked version of the popular
Sharp GX20 handset.
It's a smart, clever little handset with a clear 240x320 display, built-in camera with up to 480x640
resolution, polyphonic ringtones and java support for
games.
The Sharp GX22 is a tri-band phone (GSM 900 / 1800
/ 1900), allowing it to
be used on GSM networks worldwide. It also supports
WAP over GPRS, which combined with the good sized screen
makes internet access a lot more fun.
On top of this, the Sharp GX22 packs
some unusual features. For example, the camera comes with
a macro lens in addition to the standard setting enabling
close up shots of small objects.
Also, the Sharp GX22 has a built-in torch/camera
flash which comes in several colours including multicoloured
disco lights, and all the colours of the spectrum including
red, which is actually great for mapreading at night!
It can also send and receive video clips and photos,
plus it the GX22 runs a great selection of java-based
games.
The Sharp GX22 has about the clearest and brightest
screen we've seen on any mobile. If you've been disappointed
by the grainy screens on some rival phones, then the
Sharp GX22 is exactly what you are looking for.
Physically, the Sharp GX22 weighs just 102 grams
/ 3.4 ounces and measures 94x49x25 mm / 3.7x1.9x1.0
inches. Talktime is up to 3 hours with up to 10 days
standby.
