It is our understanding that The Mobile Republic ceased taking orders at the end of May 2004, and is now likely to be placed into administration. Like many who have had dealings with this firm, we have found The Mobile Republic to be unreliable and offering a poor quality service to both customer and business partners.

A winding up order has been issued against The Mobile Republic:

"Notice Code: 2450 in the High Court of Justice (Chancery Division)
Companies Court. No 2943 of 2004.

In the matter of The Mobile Republic Limited and in the Matter of the Insolvency Act 1986.

A Petition to wind up the above-named Company of registered office, 123 Moffat Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey, CR7 8PZ, presented on 6 May 2004 by A Safer Place to Buy Limited, of Pyramid House, 956 High Road, Finchley, London, N12 9RX, claiming to be a Creditor of the Company, will be heard by the High Court sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London, WC2A 2LL, on 23 June 2004, at 10.30am (or as soon thereafter as the Petition can be heard).

Any person intending to appear on the hearing of the Petition (whether to support or oppose it) must give notice of intention to do so to the undersigned in accordance with Rule 4.16 by 1600 hours on 22 June 2004. A copy of the Petition will be supplied by the undersigned on payment of the prescribed charge.
